Schlueter named to Rimington Trophy Watch List

TCU center is a two-time All-Mountain West Conference selection

NEW YORK CITY -- TCU football standout Blake Schlueter has been named to the Rimington Trophy's 2008 Spring Watch List.

The Rimington Trophy, presented by the Boomer Esiason Foundation, honors the nation's top center.

A preseason All-American, Schlueter is a two-time All-Mountain West Conference selection. The senior from Ganado, Texas, was a first-team choice last season on Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-Texas College Team.

Schlueter has started all but one game the last two years.
