COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State’s first kickoff time for the 2012 football season was set Thursday afternoon when the Mountain West announced its 2012 national television schedule.

Jim McElwain’s first season at the helm of the CSU program will feature one nationally televised contest, when CSU visits national power Boise State for a Nov. 17 tilt.  The game is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. MT kickoff and it will be televised on NBC Sports Network (DirecTV, 603; Comcast Digital, 55 and 689; Dish Network, 151).

The Mountain West moves into a new era and television structure in 2012, with a new agreement with CBS Sports Network, to increase national exposure for the conference's football programs. CBS Sports Network, the Conference's rights holder, will sub-license games to NBC Sports Network and ESPN.

"This is the first phase of plans for the 2012-13 academic year," said Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson. "We are working with CBS Sports Network and member institutions to map out regional and local plans for the remaining 2012 football inventory. We anticipate announcing additional telecasts from these efforts in the coming weeks."
