2007 Game Date Set For San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl Game will kick off at 6 p.m. PST on Thursday, December 20

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl News Release San Diego, Calif. - The date for the 2007 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl was released today, San Diego Bowl Game Association President Rudy Castruita announced. The 3rd annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl will kick off at 6 p.m. PST on Thursday, December 20 at Qualcomm Stadium. On television, the game will be carried nationally on ESPN. The first two Poinsettia Bowl games aired on ESPN2. Each year the bowl features the second selection from the Mountain West Conference against an at-large opponent. Earlier this week the bowl announced that the Navy Midshipmen will be the at-large representative in 2007 if they win at least six games. The 2006 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl featured a 37-7 TCU Horned Frogs' victory over the Northern Illinois Huskies in front of 29,709 fans.
