COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San Diego State defeated Santa Clara (86-53) Thursday night in the West Coast Classic at Viejas Arena in San Diego. Billy White scored 17 points while D.J. Gay, Tyrone Shelley and freshman Chase Tapley each scored 12 points for the Aztecs. Four non-conference games are slated for MWC institutions on Friday.
