MWC on TV
This weekend begins The Mtn.'s unprecedented coverage of men's and women's basketball. TCU faces No. 3/5 Maryland live in a women's basketball matchup tonight at 5:30 p.m. CT. Saturday's slate features a men's basketball contest pitting San Diego at UNLV at 2:30 p.m. PT live on The Mtn.
MWC volleyball hits the air waves with a live match between Utah and BYU in Salt Lake City. The Mtn. will televise the match, beginning at 7:30 p.m. MT.
The Mtn. is available on channel 616 on DIRECTV CHOICE and above packages for the states servicing MWC institutions (Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and the designated market areas of Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego). Customers throughout the remainder of the country will be able to access The Mtn. with a subscription to DIRECTV's Sportspack.

The contest vs. Maryland marks the third time TCU will have played host to a top-3 ranked opponent in head coach Jeff Mittie's 10 seasons at TCU. UNLV lost just two players off last year's squad that finished the season with an overall record of 27-8 and lost to eventual national champion Kansas in the NCAA Tournament's second round. The Rebels will open the season vs. San Diego, a team that earned the WCC Tournament title and upset fourth-seeded Connecticut in the first round. This will be the ninth meeting between the teams, with UNLV holding a 5-3 advantage.
