Transfer Joins Men's Program Andy Ogide to signs with Rams.
May 15, 2007 Colorado State University men's basketball coach Tim Miles has added a transfer from the University of Mississppi to his roster, the second addition of the day. Miles said 6-foot-8, 245-pound forward Andy Ogide (Oh-ga-die) will enroll at CSU next fall. "We are extremely excited to have Andy join our program," said Miles. "He represents everything we are looking for in a student-athlete at Colorado State. As a p layer, he has good size, good skills and is very athletic. He is also an excellent student and demonstrates great character." Ogide averaged 25.3 points, 10.,3 rebounds and three blocked shots per game as a senior at Paulding Counting High in Dallas, Ga., as a senior. H was a first-team all-state selection and the regional player of the year. Last season for the Rebels he averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game and shot 50 percent from the field. His older sister Emy is a forward on the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team.
