The 2006-07 Mountain West Conference men's basketball regular-season crown is still up for grabs as Saturday upsets of Top 25 squads Air Force and BYU kept the league's top four teams within two games of each other heading into the final week of play.

TCU opened the day's action with a 71-66 stunner over No. 13 Air Force, snapping the Horned Frogs' 11-game losing streak and handing TCU its first victory over a ranked opponent since a 71-46 win over Louisville on Feb. 17, 2004. San Diego State followed with an 86-74 decision over No. 21 BYU, giving the Aztecs with their seventh win in eight games and second straight 20-win campaign.

In other MWC action, Utah outlasted New Mexico, 93-91, in a double-overtime thriller, while Colorado State claimed an 86-68 win over Wyoming.

The final eight games of the regular-season schedule will be televised this week, including two national telecasts on CSTV - Feb. 27 (No. 21 BYU at No. 13 Air Force) and March 3 (Utah at No. 21 BYU). The remaining six contests will be aired regionally on the Mountain West Conference network, The Mtn.
