COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV sophomore forward Mike Moser has been named the Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games through January 29. This is the third career weekly accolade for Moser.
Moser led No. 12 UNLV in back-to-back overtime road victories at Boise State and Air Force last week. On Saturday against Air Force, Moser's free throw with 1:30 left in overtime gave UNLV a 65-61 lead and the Runnin' Rebels held on for the two-point win (65-63). He went 10-of-17 (.588) from the field while leading all scorers with 27 points, and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds to go with three steals and two assists in 38 minutes of play.
