2002 EAS Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Championship

The EAS Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Championship returns to the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas in 2002. The arena hosts several world class events each year, including the National Finals Pro Rodeo, concerts and boxing matches. It has a seating capacity of 18,500 and plays host to the eight-team MWC Championship for the third straight year. The Championship seeds are determined by the finish of each team in a 14-game regular season schedule. The single-elimination tournament schedule can be found below. The winner of the EAS Mountain West Conference Basketball Championship in 2002 will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
