CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Steve Leven scored 23 points Saturday to lead Wyoming to an 80-67 victory over Montana State.

Montana State (3-6) led 24-20 midway through the first half before the Cowboys (5-4) used a 15-0 run to take control of the game. The Bobcats didn't score a field goal in the final 10:22 of the half and Wyoming led 44-28 at halftime.

Montana State got within 71-64 on two free throws by Ja'Ron Jefferson with 3:16 remaining, but Jefferson missed both of his free throws at the 2:34 mark and Wyoming made 9-of-10 free throws the rest of the way.

Montana State was called for 28 fouls and Marvin Moss and Al Beye fouled out. Wyoming made 25-of-38 free throws and outrebounded MSU 59-31.

Brandon Ewing added 21 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for Wyoming, followed by Justin Williams with 14 points, 13 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Jefferson led MSU with 17 points, while Branden Miller added 11 and Moss 10 points and seven rebounds.

Wyoming leads its series with MSU 49-9 and has won 12 straight games against the Bobcats.
