Second Half Comeback Propels Wyoming Past Lamar, 69-64

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - James Spencer scored 18 points as Wyoming came from behind to beat Lamar 69-64 on Saturday.

Brad Jones and Brandon Ewing added 14 points each for the Cowboys (8-2), who trailed 34-27 at halftime but took the lead midway through the second.

Wyoming trailed by as much as 12 points in the first half.

Lamar (4-7) struggled with 38 percent shooting, including 29 percent in the second half.

Darren Hopkins led the Cardinals with 18 points, followed by James Davis with 17. Lamar Sanders had 13 rebounds.
