LAS VEGAS (AP)-- Wink Adams scored 18 points and pulled down five rebounds to lead UNLV over Northern Arizona 87-71 on Thursday night.

Also for UNLV (3-0), Kendall Wallace added 14 points, including 4-of-6 made from 3-point range.

Rene Rougeau (eight rebounds) and Joe Darger each had 11 points for the winners. Matt Johnson and Joe Wilson each led Northern Arizona (1-2) with 18 points apiece.

Johnson (four rebounds) went 4-of-8 from 3-point range, while Wilson had four assists for the Lumberjacks.

UNLV, which won its 18th straight at home, had a good shooting night going from the field 30-of-51 (59 percent), including from 3-point range 11-of-19 (58 percent).

Meanwhile, Northern Arizona from the field shot 26-of-61 (43 percent) and from 3-point range 6-of-21 (29 percent).
