AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Anwar Johnson's 15 points led four Falcons in double figures Sunday and Air Force held off Cal State Bakersfield 70-62.

Freshman Taylor Stewart added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons (2-0), who have gone 43-1 against non-conference opponents at Clune Arena over the last seven seasons. Stewart is the first Air Force freshman to post a double-double since Tom Bellairs in 1999-2000.

Junior Grant Parker set career highs with 12 points and nine boards for Air Force, and Andrew Henke had 10 points for the Falcons, who fended off the Roadrunners (0-2) thanks to Johnson's three-point play that made it 63-57 in the waning minutes.

Patrick Carlson scored 21 points and hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer that gave the Roadrunners a 35-32 halftime lead.
