LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The 3-point shooting of junior guard James Spencer helped propel Wyoming to a 76-71 basketball victory over Montana on Wednesday, after Wyoming rallied from a first-half deficit of 14 points.

Wyoming couldn't keep the momentum as forward Chris Anderson missed a dunk and Ewing missed a layup after a steal. Montana regained the 3-point lead on a pair of free throws by guard Bryan Ellis and a basket by Mike Chavez.
