Colorado State 85, Montana 55 Rams open 2008 season with win

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -Andy Ogide had a double-double in his debut, with 20 points and 14 rebounds, leading Colorado State to an 85-55 victory over Montana Friday night. The sophomore transfer from Mississippi was 6-for-8 shooting and eight of rebounds came off the offensive glass. Marcus Walker added 17 points for Colorado State (1-0) in the season opener for both teams. Brian Qvale led Montana (0-1) of the Big Sky Conference with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Staudacher had 14 points for the Grizzlies who beat Colorado State 75-39 a year ago at home. The Rams shot 50 percent to build a 39-20 lead at the break. The Grizzlies, which shot 28 percent for the period, made only 3-of 12 shots to start the game and fell behind 25-10 on Harvey Perry's layup with 7:05 left.
