In their final tune-up before regular season play, the University of Wyoming Cowboy basketball team took care of business on Tuesday night in Laramie and beat the Western State Mountaineers 96-61 in an exhibition game.

Sophomore Cowboy guard Brandon Ewing led the 'Pokes with an impressive stat sheet that boasted 28 points in 26 minutes, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals. With the exception of minutes played, all were team highs.

Junior forward James Spencer was also a highlight for Wyoming, pitching in 22 points.

UW will now prepare for their regular-season opener on Saturday, Nov. 11. Wyoming hosts the Boise State Broncos on Saturday in a game scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m.

Saturday's game between the Wyoming Cowboys and Boise State Broncos with be televised on "the mtn." (Mountain West Sports Network).
