ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Drew Gordon scored 12 of New Mexico's first 18 points and Hugh Greenwood opened the second half with 14 straight points as the Lobos defeated Air Force 86-56 on Wednesday night.

Greenwood finished with a game- and career-high 22 points with six rebounds, and Gordon had 17 points and 11 rebounds for New Mexico (23-6, 9-4 Mountain West), which ended a two-game losing streak.

Taylor Broekhuis scored 11 points to lead Air Force (13-14, 3-10).

The game was close for the first few minutes before New Mexico reeled off a 19-6 run to go up 21-9, and the lead never fell below double digits thereafter.

Greenwood hit four 3-pointers and a long jumper without a miss to start the second half as the Lobos stretched the lead to 54-29.
