SAN DIEGO (AP) - Brandon Heath scored 16 points and surpassed his 2,000th career point to lift San Diego State to a 67-52 victory over Nevada Las Vegas on Tuesday.

San Diego State (18-7, 7-4 Mountain West) took a 37-19 halftime lead and never let up. Lorrenzo Wade added 15 points for the Aztecs and Mohamed Abukar finished with 12.

Wendell White scored 10 points for Nevada Las Vegas (21-6, 8-4), which shot just 21.2 percent (7-for-33) from the field in the first half and never got closer than 13 points in the second half.

Heath, who now has scored 2,015 points, passed Michael Cage as San Diego State's leading all-time scorer earlier this season. Cage was introduced before the game and received a standing ovation.
