LAS VEGAS (AP) - Jacob Burtschi had 13 points and Matt McCraw added 10 points and seven assists as Air Force overcame a double-digit deficit to beat UNLV 52-50 Wednesday night.

The Falcons (16-4, 4-3 Mountain West Conference) closed the game with a 14-5 run to beat the Rebels (10-8, 4-2).

UNLV's Wendell White followed a Louis Amundson miss with a lay-in at the buzzer, but the officiating crew went to the courtside video and ruled that the ball left Whites hands after time had expired.

Dan Nwaelele connected on a pair of 3-pointers in the final 6:32 to spark the decisive run, the last coming with 54 seconds remaining to give the Falcons a 52-47 lead. Nwaelele finished with 12 points.

Air Forces comeback started in the final minute of the first half as it scored six unanswered points and closed to 27-22.

The Falcons drained a trio of 3-pointers to open the second half, including one from Nwaelele to give Air Force a 35-33 lead with 15:23 to play.

UNLV (10-8, 4-2) responded by scoring 12 of the next 16 points, including 3-pointers from Curtis Terry and Wink Adams, and the Rebels led by six with under eight minutes to play.

But Air Force scored on six of its next eight possession to seal the win, its first league victory on the road and just its third road win of the season.

Dustin Villepigue led UNLV with 12 points. Adams and Jason Petrimoulx added 10 points apiece.
