SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State baseball has commenced it fall practice schedule with a preseason roster that includes 16 returning letterwinners and 21 newcomers. Included among he veterans are seven position starters from a year ago along with with 2009 National Stopper of the Year in Addison Reed.

The Aztecs will practice daily from 2:30-5:30 p.m. weekdays (no practice on Wednesday this week) at Tony Gwynn Stadium as well as 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The fall sessinos with run through Thanksgiving weekend.

Intrasquad pratice games will be held daily. The pitching schedule for this week's scrimmages is as follows:

Thursday (Oct. 23) Red Black Ryan O'Sullivan - 3 inn Steven Moranda - 3 inn. Kegan Sharp - 3 inn. Shawn Sanford - 3 inn. Robert Alcala - 3 inn. Bryan Crabb - 3 inn.

Friday (Oct. 24) Red Black Craig Rasmussen - 3 inn. John Pecoraro - 3 inn. Michael Chaves - 3 inn. Matthew McDaniel - 3 inn. Ryan Wynveen - 3 inn. Ethan Miller - 3 inn.

Saturday (Oct. 24) Red Black Kyle Shaver - 3 inn. Kelsey Sokoloski - 3inn. Guy Willeford - 3 inn. Jesus Salgado - 3 inn.

(In addition, Addison Reed and Andrew Leary will be throwing bullpens on Friday.)
