SAN DIEGO - Registrations are now being accepted for a pair of baseball camps to be held at San Diego State University in the near future. Aztec head baseball coach Tony Gwynn and his staff will conduct their annual All-Star Summer Camp and SDSU Prospect Camp in July and August respectively.

The camps will be conducted at Tony Gwynn Stadium on the San Diego State campus, home of the SDSU Aztec baseball program and will be led by the SDSU coaching staff and players along with prominent area coaches.

The All-Star Camp (July 9-12) is an individual player camp that includes instruction and analysis to assist players in developing their hitting skills as well as improving defensive play. The camp is open to players ages 13-18.

The Prospect Camp (August 14-16) is for high school players 15-18 years old and provides athletes with an opportunity to showcase their skills for college coaches. All areas of the game will be covered and evaluated for every individual camper.

Both sessions are overnight camps with all players staying in campus dorms. The registration fee for each camp ($500) includes room and board. Transportation to and from the airport is will be provided for participants needing it.
