New Mexico's Rafael Neda and TCU's Sean Hoelscher Tabbed Louisville Slugger Freshman All-Americans

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico catcher Rafael Neda and TCU right-hander Sean Hoelscher were named to the 2008 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Baseball Team announced June 4 by Collegiate Baseball.

Neda, the 2008 MWC Freshman of the Year and second-team all-league honoree, batted .323 on the season with six home runs and 45 RBI in 49 games played.

Hoelscher, a second-team all-MWC selection, posted a 6-2 record, 3.65 earned run average and 49 strikeouts in 66.1 innings pitched.
