TUCSON, Ariz. - RHP Stuart Sutherland, Dallas Baptist: In Sutherland's first start of the year, he pitched the first perfect game (7 innings) in school history during a 2-0 win over Palm Beach Atlantic to lead the Patriots to the their second straight NCCAA national championship at the NCCAA World Series in Celina, Ohio. He struck out five in the contest.

OF Kory Knell, Brigham Young: Knell belted five home runs and three doubles in five games last week as he knocked in 15 runs. He came into the series against Air Force with only one home run all season long and had a .292 batting average. He raised his batting average 46 points to .338 as he went 13-for-21 at the plate over those five games. Knell also scored 11 runs and had a slugging percentage of 1.476.

LHP Chris Blazek, Vermont: Blazek struck out a career-high 16 batters in Vermont's 6-1 win over Hartford. He went nine innings as he allowed four hits, all singles, and walked three as the lone Hartford run was unearned.
