Fry, from Anaheim Hills, Calif., led the Rebels to a series sweep of Utah as UNLV won the regular season MWC title and earned the No. 1 seed in the MWC Tournament. He went 7-for-11 (.636) from the plate with two home runs, nine RBI and four runs scored last week. In game one, he smacked two home runs, including a two run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning that put UNLV up for good, along with five RBI and two runs scored in the Rebels' 10-4 win. In game two he was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in a 9-7 win. Fry went 2-for-5 in the series finale, with two RBI and a run scored as UNLV won 13-6.

Douglas, from Westminster, Calif., led SDSU to a 12-1 win over BYU, pitching eight scoreless innings, allowing just seven hits and two walks while striking out five. The victory allowed San Diego State to clinch third place and the No. 3 seed in this week's MWC Tournament. Coming into the game, opponents were batting .339 vs. Douglas on the year.
