COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The race for the 2012 Mountain West baseball regular season title heated up on Sunday afternoon when TCU beat New Mexico, 2-1. Both teams are 13-5 sitting atop the league standings and split the six-game series, 3-3. With two weeks left, TCU and New Mexico each have a series remaining with Air Force, while the Horned Frogs end the regular season against San Diego State and the Lobos face tournament host UNLV next week. In other MW action on Sunday, UNLV scored four runs in the top of the ninth to beat San Diego State, 5-4.
