Mountain West Conference Suspends New Mexico Assistant Baseball Coach
May 1, 2008 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of New Mexico assistant baseball coach Gerard Pineda has been suspended for one game due to his actions and ejection during the New Mexico at Arizona game on Wednesday, April 23.
The Mountain West Conference expressed appreciation for the support of the MWC Sportsmanship Policy by the New Mexico administration. The MWC will have no further comment regarding this case.
