Air Force Falcons (7-5, 0-0 Mtn. West)
Air Force has won five games in a row after cruising by Panhandle State (29-3) and sweeping a four-game series vs. Dana College. The Falcons have not won more than five consecutive games since 1994 when they captured six in a row. The longest win streak in school history is 12 games set in 1992. Air Force begins an eight-game road trip this week at the Service Academies Classic in Millington, Tenn., and will play 16 of the next 19 games on the road. The Falcons are 20-16 all-time in the Service Academies Classic since its inception in 1990. Air Force is 7-4 vs. Navy and 6-4 vs. Army in the Classics' history. When the Falcons meet Notre Dame on Feb. 24, they will face former Air Force coach Paul Mainier who was at the Academy from 1989-94.
