PROVO, Utah - The BYU National Champion Women's Cross Country team will be honored today (Monday) at a 5:00 p.m., pep rally in the Smith Fieldhouse. National Coach of the Year Patrick Shane and cross country team members will be on hand for the celebration.

Festivities include an unveiling of the national championship banner, video highlights, as well as performances by the BYU pep band, Cosmo and the cheerleaders. President Merrill J. Bateman, Coach Shane and a member of the team will address those in attendance. The festivities should last about 30-40 minutes.

Coach Shane and his team will be available for interviews following the pep rally.
