New Mexico's Caldwell and Moultrie Earn USTFCCCA All-America Honors

Honorees finished in Top 40 at NCAA National Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico cross country runners Luke Caldwell and Josephine Moultrie earned All-America honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday. Athletes of NCAA Division I institutions that finished in the Top 40 individually at the NCAA National Championships last Saturday earned the distinction.

Moultrie, a senior from Glasgow, Scotland, place 30th overall in the women's 6-kilometer race at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky. With her time of 20:11.08, Moultrie led the No. 17-ranked Lobos to a 10th-place team finish with 341 points. Caldwell, a junior from Betchworth, England, placed 27th in the men's 10K race with a time of 29:51.95. He led No. 21 UNM to a 21st-place finish.
