MWC Cross Country Fares Well at 2007 NCAA National Championships
Three MWC men's cross country runners earn All-America honors

Three Mountain West Conference men's cross country runners have been named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association All-American list, after placing in the top-50 at the 2007 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships, hosted by Indiana State.
The MWC contingent was led by Wyoming junior Mark Korir and New Mexico senior Jeremy Johnson, who finished 19th and 20th in the men's 10,000 meter race, respectively. Korir ran the course in 30:13.2, while Johnson crossed the finish line in 30:18.3.
BYU senior Chandler Goodwin was also honored as an All-American, with his 30:39.4 time at the national championship.
In the women's 6,000 meter race, BYU freshman Cecily Lemmon finished her first national championship race in 21:16.8 to rank 65th. She was joined in the top-100 by Colorado State's Kirsten Anthony (21:23.3/75th) and April Thomas (21:30.4/92nd) to round out the MWC runners in the top-100.
Overall, the Colorado State women's cross country team finished 15th, while BYU finished 22nd on the men's side.
