BYU's Josh Rohatinsky Named USTFCCCA Mountain Region Male Athlete of the Year
Nov. 17, 2006 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - BYU senior Josh Rohatinsky was honored as the Mountain Region Men's Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Thursday (November 16). Rohatinksy won the individual title at the 2006 NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Albuquerque, N.M., last week, leading the Cougars to an automatic bid in next week's NCAA Cross Country Championships. Earlier this season, the Provo, Utah, native, also won the individual crown at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, as well as capturing his second straight MWC Championship individual title. Rohatinsky is a two-time All-American, MWC Runner of the Year and first-team all-conference honoree.
