MWC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force sophomore Matt Williams has been selected as the Mountain West Conference men's cross country athlete of the week.

Williams, a Colorado Springs, Colo., native, finished first out of 81 runners at the Wyoming Invitational last week in Laramie, leading the Falcons to the team victory. He finished the 4.25 mile race in a career-best 22:12.0, topping his previous best by over a minute.
