SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's cross country and track team has been honored by the United States Track Coaches Association for having the 10th-best grade point average among Division I college teams in 2003-04.

The Utes had a 3.04 team cumulative grade point average. The other top 10 men's teams were Detroit-Mercy (3.32), Quinnipiac (3.30), Richmond (3.26), Davidson (3.20), Syracuse (3.11), Missouri (3.10), Northern Iowa (3.07), Pennsylvania (3.06) and Arkansas-Little Rock (3.05).
