Complete List of Teams and Individuals

The 2006 University of Wyoming Cowgirl Cross Country team was recently honored for their performance in the classroom as they were named to the 2006-07 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I All-Academic list. The Cowgirls recorded an overall team grade point average of 3.265 and were among five schools from the Mountain West Conference that were selected. Those teams from the MWC honored include: Air Force, BYU, Texas Christian, Utah and Wyoming.

BYU had the highest GPA of any team honored by finishing the season with a 3.730 GPA. Stanford was honored as the 2006 All-Academic Team of the Year as they were the national champions in women's cross country and finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.470. The Team of the Year honor is awarded to the team with highest finish at the NCAA Cross Country National Championships while also meeting the All-Academic team qualifications.
