SALT LAKE CITY-The Utah cross country team has placed thirteen student-athletes on the fall semester honor roll. To be eligible for the honor a student-athlete must compile a 3.0 GPA or higher. Eight of the thirteen student-athletes received further distinction by being named to the Dean's List. A student-athlete must boast a 3.5 GPA or higher with the required amount of credit hours to receive Dean's List distinction. The women's team had an impressive 3.35 cumulative GPA for the semester.

"I'm very proud of the excellent academic marks our teams posted this fall," said Head Coach Brian Appell. "Our coaching staff stresses excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Congratulations to those student-athletes who have excelled in both arenas."
