TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Senior Matt Gonzales finished second and freshman Shadrack Kiptoo Biwott placed 10th to lead the University of New Mexico to a ninth place finish, the best in school history, this morning at the 2004 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. Gonzales and Biwott both earned All-America honors for their efforts. Senior Jacquelyne Gallegos, meanwhile, was 69th in the women's race.
