Nov. 19, 2001

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State University track and field coach Del Hessel, and throws coach Brian Bedard today announced the signing of Nate Hyerman to a national letter of intent.

Hyerman is an all-state football and track athlete from Loveland, Colo., High School who last year won the state championship in the discus and was runnerup in the shot put.

Currently, he is competing for the Indians' football squad which has reached the Class 4A semifinals.
