Seven Air Force Academy track & field athletes, two women and five men, earned the U.S. Track Coaches Association's Academic All-American honors.

C1C Elissa Ballas, who graduated with a 3.76 cum grade point averge (GPA) in biochemistry, was a finalist at the NCAA Midwest Region Outdoor Championships in the 1500-meters after placing third in the 5000-meters at the Mountain West Conference Championships.

C1C Jocelyn Dooley, with a 3.47 cum GPA in physics, placed second in the Mountain West Conference and fourth in the NCAA Midwest Region, and went on to compete at the NCAA Championships in the javelin, setting a school record with her throw of 157-feet, 8-inches.

C1C Tim Fritz, two-time MWC Conference Champion in the javelin throw, graduated with a 3.28 cum GPA in management.

C1C David Thompson earned a 3.38 cum GPA in chemistry, and placed fourth in the MWC Championships in the discus throw, qualifying for the NCAA Midwest Region Championships.

C2C Bryant Bevan, a 3.63 cum GPA student in aeronautical engineering, was the MWC Indoor Champion in the 800-meters, and advanced to the NCAA Midwest Region Championships.

C2C Luke Marker ran the 110-meter high hurdles in the NCAA Region Meet after placing fourth in the MWC Championships; he accumulated a 3.52 GPA in management.

C3C Makisi Haleck placed fourth in the MWC Indoor Championships in the pole vault and advanced to the NCAA Midwest Regional, with a season best of 17-feet ¾-inche; he compiled a 3.25 cum GPA.
