INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - TCU will have a delegation of three student-athletes compete at the 2007 AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships June 20-24 at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium on the IUPUI campus.

Competing for TCU will be Jonathan Jackson, Deborah Jones and Otis McDaniel. Jackson will compete in the triple jump, while Jones will run the 400 meters and McDaniel will compete in the 200 meters.

The championships will be televised live Friday-Sunday on NBC and ESPN2. The coverage on ESPN2 will be Friday from 7-8 p.m. (live), and Saturday from 6-7 p.m. (tape-delayed).

NBC will have live coverage of the event from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday and from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday.

Jackson will compete in the triple jump fresh off earning All-America honors with a third-place finish in the event at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Jackson also won the Mountain West Conference title in the triple jump and long jump.

Jones advanced to the semifinals of the 400 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and also won the league title in the event. A native of Portland, Ore., Jones also earned All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships by running a leg on TCU's 4x100 relay team that placed fourth.

McDaniel redshirted this past season after earning two All-America honors in 2006. Last summer, McDaniel won gold in the 200 at the NACAC Under 23 Track and Field Championships. He also won the league outdoor title in the event in 2006.

TCU will open competition with Jones running in the first round of the 400 meters at 5:10 p.m. on Thursday.

Last season, the event drew 33,000 fans over five days.
