COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force senior Sean Temple and Colorado State senior Christine Ahn were named Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Temple set an Academy and MWC record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.80 at the Risdon Western-Air Force Twilight Invitational. The Monument, Colo., native, broke the 16-year old Falcon standard set by Mike Profit (14.01 in 1988), while also eclipsing his own MWC record time set in 2003. Temple added a victory in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.57 and ran the second-leg of the winning 4x100-meter relay team (41.98).

Ahn, a Santa Monica, Calif., product, broke the school record in the pole vault after clearing 12'-9.5" (3.90 meters) at the Air Force Twilight meet to win the event. She topped her own record of 12'-8" from the Jack Christiansen Invitational on April 24 in Fort Collins. Ahn has held the CSU record since her freshman season and has broken the record on four occasions during her career. Her mark ranks third in the MWC this season.
