LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Wyoming sophomore Seth Billy and San Diego State senior Promise Mose were named Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Billy, a native of Christ City, Barbados (Combermere HS), won the 400-meter hurdles at the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo., last week with a season- and conference-best mark of 51.35 seconds-just .15 shy of a NCAA provisional qualifying mark. His time was also the fifth best in school history.

Mose, of Richmond, Va. (Kennedy HS), earned Athlete of the Meet honors at the Cal/Nevada State Championships in Irvine, Calif., last week after helping the Aztecs to a first-place team finish. Mose helped account for 38 of SDSU's 102 points at the meet with a first-place finish in the 400 meters (54.40) and a second-place finish in the 200 meters. She also ran on the Aztec 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams which placed first and second, respectively. Mose holds MWC best times this season in the 200 meters (23.98) and the 400 meters (54.40).
