COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State sophomore John Woods and Wyoming junior Adelaide Harper have been selected as the Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
John Woods - Colorado State
Sophomore * Sprints * Highlands Ranch, Colo./Thunderridge HS

Woods won the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 21.08 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo. He also captured the 100-meter title with a 10.56 mark. Woods currently holds the top time in the conference in both 100 and 200 meters.

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Harper tied the Wyoming school record in the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 11.80. The mark currently ranks third in the MWC this season and is tied for 5th all-time in league history. She also captured the 200-meter title with a season best time of 24.49, currently the sixth fasted mark in the MWC this year. Harper concluded the weekend as a member of the Cowgirls winning 4X100-meter relay team that posted the third best time in school history at 46.32
