COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State junior Magnus Lohse and TCU sophomore Joe Brown have been named Mountain West Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field Co-Athletes of the Week, while Colorado State senior Katie Hansen was named MWC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week. This is the first career weekly honor for all three recipients.

Lohse, from Vallda, Sweden, won the shot put competition at the Rob Upton Invitational in Fort Collins last weekend. His career-best throw of 62'-11.25" (19.18m) is a new Colorado State school record and the fourth best mark in MWC history, as well as the second best mark in the nation. He won the event by over eight feet and helped the Rams to a 1-2-3 sweep.

Brown, an Overland Park, Kan., native, set a new MWC all-time record, as well as a TCU school record with his personal-best javelin throw of 222'-5.00" (67.79m) at the Dr. Pepper Invitational in Waco, Texas, last week. His regional qualifying mark broke the previous conference record by three feet, and currently ranks as the eighth best throw in the nation.

Hansen, a Fort Collins, Colo., native, won the discus throw at the Rob Upton Invite with an NCAA regional qualifying throw of 167'-10.00" (51.17m). Her mark is currently 11th best in the nation.
