COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Wyoming sophomore Quincy Howe and San Diego State junior Promise Mose were named the McLeodUSA Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for their performances last week.

Howe, a native of Perrylends, Trinidad, broke the stadium record in the triple jump at the UNC Quadrangular last weekend in Greeley, Colo. He posted a mark of 51' 11". Howe placed second in the long jump competition with a leap of 22' 3.5". Howe was the triple jump champion at the inaugural Mountain West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in February.

A native of Richmond, Va., Mose captured a pair of first-place finishes at the 57th annual Coca-Cola Florida Relays last week. Her time of 11.84 in the 100-meter dash was a new personal best and was the sixth-best time in school history. Mose also established a new career-best with a time of 54.45 in the 400 Meters, the fifth-best performance in San Diego State history.
