COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference had nine student-athletes earn All-America honors at the 2007 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., last week.

Overall, there was one men's All-American and eight women All-America honorees. On the men's side, BYU senior David Pendergrass earned All-America honors for his 10th place finish in the high jump. On the women's end, TCU had five All-Americans, while Colorado State had two honorees and BYU had one. The Horned Frog honorees were Virgil Hodge (7th place finish in the 200-meter dash) and the quartet of Deborah Jones, Jamee Jones, Kishelle Paul and Nathandra John, who finished 6th in the 4x400 relay. Colorado State's Janay DeLoach (5th in the long jump) and Katie Lloyd (7th in the pentathlon) and BYU's Mindy Neeley (7th in the long jump) also earned All-America status on the women's side.

Since 2000, 100 MWC indoor track and field student-athletes have attained All-American status.
