COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force senior Kevin Griswold and Wyoming senior Robin Lyons were named Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for their performances last weekend.

Competing at the Air Force Open in Colorado Springs, Colo., Griswold was the first collegiate runner to cross the finishing line in the 200-meter dash. He finished second in the event overall. His NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 21.21 is a season-best mark and ranks second in the Mountain West Conference this season. Griswold, a native of Garden Grove, Calif., is the school's all-time record holder in the 200-meter dash.

A native of Panoka, Alberta, Canada, Lyons broke her own school and Canadian National record in the 20-lb. weight throw at the Robert Shine Invitational in Laramie, Wyo. Her mark of 70' 2.5" is also the top throw the nation this season. This is the second athlete of the week honor for Lyons this season.

Last week's winners: Utah's Teren Jameson and BYU's Kirsten Bolm
