COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A preview of the 2007 Mountain West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships will premiere on The Mtn.-MountainWest Sports Network, Friday, Feb. 16 at 8:30 p.m. MT, with repeat airings Saturday and Sunday. The 2007 MWC Indoor Track and Field Championships will be hosted by the University of New Mexico, Feb. 22-24, at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Anne Marie Anderson will host the preview show, along with in-studio analyst Doug Max. Max is the Associate Athletics Director for Facilities Operations at Colorado State and the former track and field head coach. The show will give a general overview of all the conference teams, along with student-athlete and coaches interviews and predictions from athletes across the conference on who to look out for at the championships.

The track and field preview show is a part of three new programs that will debut this week on The Mtn. Also set to premiere this week on The Mtn. is Mountain Peak Performances and a preview of the 2007 MWC Swimming and Diving Championships. Mountain Peak Performances, a new weekly show which puts the spotlight on athletes and coaches in Olympic sports, premieres Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 6:15 MT, while the swimming and diving preview show will air at 8 p.m. MT, on Friday, Feb. 16.

Today's television announcement reflects the benefits of the ongoing partnership between CSTV Networks and Comcast for The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network. The Mtn. is the first 24-hour sports network devoted exclusively to a single conference.
