COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State junior Drew Morano and TCU sophomore Candis Kelley have been named Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Morano, a Paolo, Kan., native, won the 400 meter dash at the University of Washington Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., last week with a personal best time of 46.96. Morano's provisional qualifying mark is the second fastest time in MWC history, as well as the 16th fastest time in the nation this season. He also finished fourth in the 200 meter dash in a time of 21.48.

Kelley, from College Station, Texas, set a personal best and NCAA provisional qualifying distance of 50'-4.50" (15.35m) in the shot put for an eighth-place finish at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., last week. Her toss is the best in the conference this season and the 25th best in the country.
