COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - BYU senior Robison Pratt and Colorado State senior Jill McCormick have been named Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively. This is the first career weekly honor for both recipients.

Pratt, an El Paso, Texas, native, brought home the individual title at the Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nev., last week. His career best vault of 18'-8.50" (5.71m) set a new MWC and BYU school record, and is currently the fifth-best mark in the world.

McCormick won the weight throw competition and finished fourth in the shot put at the Nebraska Triangular last weekend in Lincoln, Neb. The Highlands Ranch, Colo., native, posted a career-best mark of 66'-8.50" (20.33m) in the weight throw, which was the second best throw in school history and the third-best throw in conference history. McCormick's toss is currently ranked 10th in the nation, as well as provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships. In the shot put, she threw a season-high 46'-10.00" (14.27m), which is also second in CSU history, behind the American Collegiate record (22.65m) set by Loree Smith last season.
