COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Wyoming senior Blake Jackson and Colorado State senior Janay DeLoach have been named Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Jackson, a Cheyenne, Wyo., native, won the triple jump at the Wyoming Open on Dec. 9, 2006 with a jump of 51'-7.25" (15.73m). His mark was the fourth best in conference history, as well as a provisional qualifying standard.

DeLoach, from Edwards AFB, Calif., finished first in the long jump and was the first collegian (second overall) to cross the finish line in the 55-meter dash at the Wyoming Open. Her winning jump of 21'-0.75" (6.42m) set a new CSU school record and was the third-best leap in MWC history. Her mark is also an NCAA Championship automatic qualifying jump. In the 55-meter dash, DeLoach finished with a time of 7.02.
